Agri Dept Kashmir, JKHMC Sign MoU for Marketing, Investing Of Vegetables

SRINAGAR- To present vegetable growers with advertising facilities for their generate, the Directorate of Agriculture Kashmir these days signed a Memorandum of Knowing (MoU) with J&K Horticulture Make Marketing and advertising and Processing Corporation (JKHMC) Ltd.
The MoU was signed among Director Agriculture Kashmir Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal and Controlling Director JKHPMC Shafat Sultan.
The Director mentioned the move is going to enhance direct linkage among the farmers and the marketplaces with a robust platform for much better cost realization vis-à-vis profits generation.
He reiterated the motivation of the division for discovering all alternatives of advertising the fresh veggies by way of the hypermarket chain in Kashmir valley as also as a result of main retail company chain PAN India.
He also explained the departments will associate/ introduce JKHPMC in the Department of Agriculture, Kashmir’s vegetable market place / investing chain for value addition and scaling up.
Controlling Director JKHPMC Shafat Sultan on the celebration claimed that the corporation has the mandate of processing numerous horticulture items of J&K and their advertising and marketing. JKHPMC delivers farmers option promoting channels for advertising their fruits and vegetables (Fresh new & Dried).
