Committee states business’ pricey addition may well give mistaken impact of Youngstown
House owners of Valley Food items are getting requested to get a further glimpse at their project
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Plans to incorporate a multimillion-dollar addition to a downtown Youngstown business are heading to consider a minor longer.
Homeowners of Valley Foodstuff are getting asked to get another glance at their task. They want to increase a chain website link safety fence to stop criminal offense at a new warehouse and manufacturing undertaking they have proposed for their house off South Avenue.
But Tuesday morning, members of the city’s Layout Assessment Committee claimed the idea goes from current guidelines and might not provide the impression city leaders want website visitors to see.
“South Avenue is a person of the principal entrances off the freeway community into downtown from Boardman and from as much away as Pittsburgh. It is a principal entrance to the Covelli Centre and this is very obvious. It sends a concept,” claimed Hunter Morrison, with the Style Evaluation Committee.
For now, the committee has tabled the proposal and will deliver it back again up when they satisfy once again in March.
In the meantime, house owners of Valley Meals will meet up with with neighboring organizations in that aspect of downtown to see if they can occur up with a different concept.
