A fireplace in a SUV and winds that blew forex from luggage retained within helped law enforcement in Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh seize Rs 1.74 crore, an formal claimed on Monday.
In accordance to report in Push Rely on of India (PTI), the SUV caught hearth near Bahmani village, which destroyed Rs 1.50 lakh in 500 rupee denomination notes.

“The incident took place on Sunday evening. On remaining alerted, a police team rushed to the place. The men and women apprehended claimed they carried gold from Mumbai to Varanasi, and have been carrying Rs 1.74 crore funds back on the recommendations of a trader,” PTI quoted the formal as saying.
The accused had hid the forex in a chamber under the vehicle’s bonnet, seats etc, and the fire may have begun in the vehicle due to a quick circuit, the SP claimed.
“The three persons in the motor vehicle escaped soon after passersby noticed the cash, but have been nabbed by Kurai police on countrywide highway 44. The three, recognized as Sunil Verma (35), Gyas Babu (42) and Hariom Yadav (38), people of Uttar Pradesh, are giving conflicting statements about the antecedent of the cash. More probe is on,” the SP mentioned.
