Lexington downtown will get new retail retail outlet

Bobbie and Bradley Key recently leased the former The Olde Homestead building on Main Street in Lexington and will open their home interior and women's accessories store Bristle + Pine in March if everything goes as planned.

Bradley and Bobbie Essential have been doing work on assignments with each other and encouraging every other’s creative imagination due to the fact the two satisfied when he accidentally left his credit rating card at her workplace about 5 a long time ago.

Their hottest challenge is opening a new household inside and women’s accessories retail store in downtown Lexington called Bristle + Pine in the former The Olde Homestead retail store area on South Major Avenue. Even the name of the keep alludes to the partnership they have designed and the unique talents they provide alongside one another for their new retail job.

“Bristle refers to the paintbrush, and that is me, the painter,” claimed Bobbie. “The pine is him and the wood he takes advantage of to build household furniture. It truly is about what we the two convey to the table.”

Bradley uses mostly pine wood to make dining area and kitchen tables, baker’s tables, kitchen area islands and potting benches that the shop will have. Bobbie, a painter due to the fact she was a youngster, paints on a range of surfaces, which include classic household furniture the pair purchases, classic window frames and extra.

Pictured is a piece of vintage furniture the Keys upcycled and an example of merchandise you will find in their new store opening soon. Bradley took off the old footings and added the metal hardware to the bottom of this three-drawer chest, while Bobbie painted the scene of the Wrightsville Beach pier.

Other than the paintings and furnishings, Bristle + Pine will carry a range of women’s components and household decor from Milkhouse Candle Co. candles, table decor, women purses and premium chalk paint.  Bobbie has by now secured area artists to carry their handmade jewelry and wreaths, as well.

The vintage state and French cottage design store will be set up like the rooms in a household to display merchandise.
